Dr. Richardson is a very caring doctor. Listens to my concerns and very clearly explains all procedures and road to recuperation from foot surgery. I appreciate that he gives out a sheet with recommendations for footwear, compression socks, etc. I highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Richardson was top tier. I tore my Achilles October. thinking it was just a bad "sprain" I continued to "walk"/ hobble on it for 6 weeks before seeing Dr. Richardson. On the 7th week, I saw him and by the following week I was in surgery. He walked me thru the procedure, he made sure I understood and he was honest with me the entire time. The surgery went off with out any complications. He did excellent work. AND IM NOT JUST SAYING THAT. 6 months post surgery, i am able to do a "single leg calf raise" supporting my entire body. I am able to do far more athletic movements as well. Dr. Richardson is top notch. His program works and he truly cares about his patients and loves what he does.

I spend so much time complaining about the medical system, it’s a joy to write a good review. I was seen by Dr Richardson at the Phoenix orthopedic location. 755 McDowell. First, it’s a first rate, easily accessible facility. Polite , helpful staff, from techs to x-ray to front desk. Dr. Richardson listened, was adept at handling my chronic disease of CMT. Competent and kind. Rare these days

Damien Richardson did my bunion surgery and also took some of the bone off the top of my foot because of bone spurs and arthritis, replaced it with different bone. He did a fantastic job with both of these. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He made you feel like he cares, not just another job done. I would recommend him to everyone I know. He also did my sister-in-laws surgery and I was just as impressed.

Dr Richardson remembers me!! Not many physicians can do that after one visit. He truly cares about my well being and getting me back to an active lifestyle. I’ve had several injuries and he is the best surgeon I’ve ever had.

I'm a rugby player, so I've seen my share of good doctors and bad ones. I cannot say enough good things about the way Dr. Richardson handled my injury. When he told me what needed to be done, he was clear, friendly, concise, and extremely patient when I asked all of my questions. The surgery itself was scheduled extremely quickly and was done perfectly. He followed up post-op and was available for any questions I had, which I've never experienced before and greatly appreciated. He gave me a solution that lets me play my sport again within the next year, which is pretty incredible. I would definitely recommend!

I suffered a major trauma injury to my ankle while out of state. I requested a referral from the surgeon for when i returned home and was directed to Dr. Richardson to complete the necessary treatments and followup.
He explained early on that he is conservative and instead of 4-6 weeks of no weight on the ankle it may be 6-8. He is hands on and there have been no issues. Personally, I prefer a doctor to take that approach instead of talking for 2 min then handing me off to the "staff" to do the work.
Taking my case could be risky as he is finishing what someone else started.
